Since we first heard the rumours that AMD was going to buy ATI we’ve thought, how is this going to affect ATI’s products? Now we’ve got information concerning this specific question. And it seems that one of the first line of products to go is ATI’s famous All In Wonder series. The AIW-cards has always been on the top when it came to video playback as well as recording featuring good tv-tuners. According to the Inquirer the team that’s been working on the AIW series will disappear as well as the AIW series. Even if this does sound tragic to some of us, let’s not forget that most of ATI’s video cards today are equipped with a lot of multimedia functions, just like the AIW series. But then again, one does not know what AMD/ATI’s got up their sleeve, only time will tell. But until then, it seems like the AIW is heading towards the grave.
