AMD and Dell become partners soon

AMD seems to be very close to a historical deal with PC builder Dell, an analyst at American Technology Research now claims that AMD only is a few weeks away from getting its processors into Dell’s systems. Doug Freedman claims that Dell to begin with will use AMD’s processors with its laptops and later on introduce them for its desktop and server computers. This is probably the strongest indication so far that AMD really has made a deal with Dell. Now people are starting to find reasons to why and it seems that Intel’s deal with Apple might be a thorn in the side for Dell. We will follow the development the upcoming weeks because if Dell launches computers with AMD’s processors it will cause a ruckus.
