AMD has against its will achieved a tremendous success on the desktop market with its Opteron 100 series. The high value processors has revealed themselves as exceptional overclockers and computer enthusiasts worldwide has taken them to their hearts. We recently heard rumours about AMD would terminate these processors to try and protect its regular desktop models, but now this has been declined by AMD. It has in a statement said that the processors will be made and sold for another year, so all you enthusiasts and overclockers won’t have to worry.
