AMD Live! to counter Intel Viiv

AMD Live! has no connection with Xbox 360’s online system Live!, but AMD’s new concept is suppose to, just as Xbox 360, make it easier to enjoy digital entertainment. AMD Live! is namely a branding like Intel Viiv which will be used to “approve” systems which brings the PC with multimedia entertainment into the home. That is, AMD Live! systems will offer a better multimedia experience for those who are going for a Media Center computer or similar. Whether AMD Live! can face Intel Viiv straight up front remains to see, but we feel confident and are very positive that more companies than just Intel has realized the importance of the multimedia sector of the PC market.
