AMD has both the R600 and K10 architectures coming and we can’t deny that it’s been a tensed wait for these two, but if we forget about the two closest and most obvious launches there are still a couple of things that turn heads. The perhaps most interesting one of these is Fusion, which is all about merging a CPU with a GPU. This is a solution for mobile systems foremost, with performance as a second priority. At Anandtech they’ve published an eight page article that concludes the event AMD had arranged in California, where they also discuss a lot of these things, including better pictures of the Barcelona systems AMD had on display.
