ATI‘s products will of course still be around, but according to The Inquirer we should prepare ourselves for that both company and product names may change to fit AMD better after the acquisition of ATI. According to this information it seems you will be able to buy AMD graphics cards instead of ATI cards, but what product names that will be used remains to be revealed. Later information published by PC Pro states that AMD has no plans to drop the ATI or any of its product brands. It’s not impossible that AMD will eventually drop the ATi brand and perhaps introduce a new series of products with new name the next generation, but until then we will still have the ATi and Radeon series to look forward to.
