AMD’s mobile dual core processor revealed

AMD is at the moment working on a dual core processor for its mobile platform and what we are expecting to become Turion 64 dual core has now appeared at LaptopLogic. It has namely posted a screenshot with AMD’s verification software that reveal a 1.8GHz AMD processor with dual cores and a resting speed at 800MHz, a lot like today’s Turion 64 processors. What makes it extra interesting is the voltage the processor uses, 1.075v, which is considerably less than what the 90nm singel core Turion 64 processors of today work at. These consume 1.45v, which is more than 34% less.
