Apple isn’t exactly known for its mice and most likely the number one thing that has caused the most irritation among regular PC users unable to handle Apple’s 1-button mice. Apple Mighty Mouse was the first offical 2-button mouse from Apple and even if Mighty Mouse just has one physical button it has two different functions. Now it seems that Apple will bring Mighty Mouse to new levels by using wireless Bluetooth technology. Apple has submitted a filing to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for a Bluetooth-based Mighty Mouse and according to recent information we should be able to expect an announcement by Apple during its WWDC conference on August 7.
Those who don’t like using third party mice with their Macs this might be an interesting option. But it seems there will nothing new but the wireless support, I.e. a wireless Mighty Mouse .
