Apple iPhone first appeared in our news reports when BenQ said that Apple was working on an iTunes-compitable mobile phone. Since then the stories have been mixed, but very little concrete facts. Slashdot has a story on some of the latest news covering Apple’s iPhone and even if you as a consumer doesn’t get much more intelligent the idea of a phone isn’t completely off, although we’re far from there now. A whole new iPhone is probably not a bad idea though, especially considering how poor Motorola ROKR has done, but anything else would probably have been a great surprise considering the phone they chose to base it upon.
