Apple launches new Power Macs and Powerbooks

Apple has been hiding something and the cryptic invitations it has sent out for a new event on October 12th are still a bit of a mystery. We’ve heard rumours of a video iPod but now it seems we’re talking about new versions of Power Mac G5 and the PowerBook-series. According to Think Secret these are the product-series that Apple will update at its even in San Jose next week and and that it will continue to ride the iPod Nano-wave for another year or so. There are of course no details on what the series will be updated with so will just have to wait and see.
