Apple, SanDisk and Samsung sued by MP3 player patent holder

Texas MP3 Technologies is the company that has proven that there is no low for how far a company can go to sue others. February 15 the company acquired a patent from two Korean inventors. The patent covers “portable audio device suitable for reproducing MPEG encoded data includes a plurality of inputs, a data storage, a display, an audio output, at least one processor and a battery.” On the 16th it handed in its lawsuit against the biggest MP3 manufacturers it could find. The company now claims that three has willfully infringed on the patent and to top it all off it has chosen to submit the suit to a Texas court, a region known for its love of patent holders.
