Apple is one of the best companies to market itself in the world and those who thought Apple wouldn’t squeeze every last drop from the lucrative holiday shoppings should reconsider. Apple recently updated its iMac series with Core 2 Duo processors and now it’s the mobile Macs of the MacBook series which is next. Accoridng to rumors Apple has already manufacturered the new models with Core 2 Duo processors and is now just waiting to relase them onto the market. You might think Apple would launch its new MacBook and MacBook Pro as soon as possible but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

It actually looks like Apple will wait with introducing the new models until the end of November. There is no specific date and it may be earlier than that, but it is in no rush before the Christmas shopping. Earlier reports have spoken of a launch in September and the line for that is starting to get pretty thin.

The new MacBook and MacBook Pro systems are expected to get pretty much the same specifications as current models, which is hardly surprising. Other than that, portable computers is currently the market Apple is growing the most on as it broke its sales record with 800,000 units last quarter. If its coming Core 2 Duo models can improve this remains to be seen.
