ATI has as you probably know launched its first multi GPU platform through its Radeon Xpress 200 chipset but it has not only gone for Crossfire support but also making it a solid platform in general. At GamePC they’ve tested ASUS A8R-MVP which is based on ATI’s Crossfire chipset and they haven’t focused on the multi GPU support but how the chipset stands up to NVIDIA’s equivalent. Despite its less successful earlier confrontations with chipsets from ATI they seem very pleased with the Radeon Xpress 200 chipset over at GamePC, ironically they feel the platform is perhaps best suited those who are using only one graphic card.
