ASUS has released a list of updated BIOSes it will or already have released for eight motherboards based on Intel’s X58 chipset. The new BIOSes will enable support for Intel’s 32 nm CPUs and this includes full support for Intel’s coming hexa-core Core i9 processor. The processor also known as Gulftown is slated for Q1 2010.
But already eight of ASUS’ X58 motherboard will get Core i9 support, although ASUS refers to the models as “Intel’s next generation 32nm processors”.
