We’ve been reporting about Radeon HD 3850X2 on a couple of occasions. The card is suppose to boost two RV670 chips, but with lower clocks and less memory. Although, just as with Radeon HD 3850, both frequency and memory can be adjusted by individual partners. VR-Zone reports, ASUS EAH3850X2 sports two RV670 cores at the proposed 668MHz, but has a larger memory buffer; 1GB, still running at 1658MHz though. Overall, the card has the same in-house design as EAH3870X2.
