ASUS Eee PC 1015T looks to become one of few AMD netbooks in the ASUS Eee PC family. The information that has now appeared about the model that was shown at Computex reveal that it will have an AMD V105 CPU with 1.2 GHz core clock.
The processor is a single-core model and together with the integrated ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics circuit it should offer plenty of performance for gaming. The 10.1″ display sports 1024×600 pixel resolution and the computer ships with up to 4GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB harddrive, 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0. The battery has 6 cells and will offer battery times up to 6 hours.
As expected the computer use the same case as other models of the 1015 series from ASUS and the question is if this was just a prototype more than just a coming product. We’re not sure what to make of it, but it’s a step forward for AMD.
