ASUS Eee PC is an unusually exciting product as it is not a high-end product of any kind, but actually an extremely low-end product. Over at 3DNews.ru they’ve gotten their hands on an ASUS Eee PC 701, and it is built around the Mobile Intel 910GMLE Express chipset and the Intel Celeron M 900 MHz. The graphics comes with the chipset and isn’t exactly glorious but enough to power the low-res (800×480) 7″ display. Other than that the Eee PC 701 sports 512 MB 400 MHz DDR2 memory, measures 225x165x21~35 and weighs 0.89 kg.
The article is in Russian, but the pictures on page 1 gives a good look at what the PC looks on the outside, while page 2 reveals the inside. Even though it isn’t the most exciting hardware it is still interesting and worth a look.
