ASUS F1A75-I Deluxe has appeared in our news in the past and the fresh Mini-ITX motherboard for AMD Llano is now hotter than ever. As we revealed the Llano platform is not the optimal choice for overclockers, but this mini motherboards has an ace up it’s sleeve for HTPCs; a dedicated remote control with QWERTY keyboard.
The power is handled by a 6-phase digial power supply with dual ASUS TPU and EPU microprocessors for overclocking and energy saving. To feel at home in the home cinema environment there are a number of video outputs; HDMI, DVI and DisplayPort.
One of the more interesting functions has now been truly uncovered. We have reported earlier that it would ship with a remote, as it was detailed in the specifications. What we did not know at the time was that ASUS had spent quite a lot time developing this tool and made it into a full QWERTY keyboard for the new HTPC motherboard.
The remote has simple navigational keys on one side, which can also be used to handle the mouse pointer. On the other side is a complete QWERTY keyboard. On paper a very handy tool for a HTPC system. With a price around 120€ ASUS F1A75-I Deluxe looks like a very affordable package and we look forward to taking a closer look at it.
