Two of the giants of the motherboard industry, ASUS and Gigabyte, have posted guidelines for the sales of 2010 and the numbers are looking up. Both ASUS and Gigabyte expect an increase in sales by 10% year-to-year and China is said to be the hottest market for next year. ASUS expects to ship 20 million motherboards in 2009 while Gigabyte hopes to send out somewhere between 14-15 million boards before the end of the month. Next year is estimated to be even better and we of course look forward to both new motherboards and processor platforms.
