ASUS has several tablets coming, one being a Tegra 2 multimedia tablet coming. The Eee Pad series will contain several models and one of these is Atom model that will replace Google’s Android operating system for Microsoft’s Windows 7 OS. Considering the difficulties HP encountered with Atom-based Windows 7 tablets we can’t say we’re overly excited about ASUS’ plans, but hopefully it can come up with something HP couldn’t.
The ASUS Eee Pad series will be made by Pegatron Technology and the Atom-based Windows 7 tablet will use a 10″ display and be light to carry around.
ASUS is expected to show the new tables at Computex 2010.
