Once again we have information the coming processor architecture Bulldozer and this time we learn about the clock frequencies. AMD FX-8110 and FX-8130P will be the top models with 8 cores and if correct it looks like the frequencies will go above 4.0GHz.

In a document said to be from ASUS for a BIOS evaluation of its 990FX motherboard the clock frequencies of all Bulldozer models that will be released by AMD at launch was revealed, but this information has been covered, which means we have to rely on the text in the source article.

AMD FX-8130 will be the top model at 125W TDP and come with a clock frequency of 3.8GHz and can dynamically overclock itself to 4.2GHz with help of Turbo Core 2.0, while FX-8110 that comes with 95W TDP comes with a clock frequency of 3.6GHz and 4.0GHz in Turbo.

Both models will sport 8 cores and if the prices we reported on earlier this looks like an affordable alternative. This information has to be considered with a pinch of salt, but matches that AMD has released, that the new architecture will be optimized for low power consumption and high clock frequencies.
