Marine Cool är namnet på ett nytt moderkortskoncept från tillverkaren ASUS där man blandat militär design med rymdteknik. Även om vi tänjer lite på sanningen så får man en tydlig militärkänsla av ASUS Marine Cools designkoncept där moderkortets bastanta heatpipe kylning arbetar tillsammans med en keramisk platta på baksidan för att hålla moderkortets temperaturer i schack. Målet är att sprida värmen över en större yta och sedan forsla den ut ur datorn. På baksidan finns även ett integrerat batteri som agerar UPS ifall datorn skulle tappa strömtillförseln. När och i vilken form Marince Cool kommer att dyka upp på marknaden är ännu oklart.

Failover Memory
To provide even further support for operation sustainability, the server-standard Failover Memory design on the Marine Cool motherboard utilizes built-in memory to help continue system boot-up in the event of errors to add-on memory.
