ASUS is the world’s largest motherboard manufacturer and thus a force to reckon with on the PC market. A while back the company, through its chairman Jonney Shih, made a statement regarding Microsoft’s new operating system Windows Vista, a statement that was hardly in Microsoft’s liking. In an interview posted last week, Jonney Shih claimed that ASUS still had a lot of customers that were not interested in gambling with Windows Vista, but wanted Windows XP instead. The problem comes down to worries about compatibility problems and analysts claim that the sales of Windows Vista will improve during the second half if the technical compatibility is solved.
