ASUS U2E is an ultraportable notebook and even that would seem similar to ASUS’ own Eee PC, there are some quite obvious differences. The fact is, U2E is more or less the exact opposite of the Eee PC. ASUS U2E is anything but a budget PC, but we can’t imagine that anyone would think otherwise. ASUS has dressed the 11″ notebook in leather and on the list of feature you will find both a fingerprint reader and SSD. It also sports software that allows you to login with face recognition via the integrated web camera.
It’s not just the outside and inside that speaks of the target audience, but also the packaging. ASUS U2E comes in a classy jeweler’s box. PC Perspective has shared some picture of the unpacking of the notebook, before publishing the review. A preview which few other notebooks are worthy of.
There’s no doubt that ASUS has focused on stile and elegance with the U2E. According to VR-Zone, they’ve done a good job fitting so many features inside such a small case.
