With dual harddrives, dual graphics circuits, and 6 GB RAM Asus W90Vp is definitely not any laptop. It is a serious laptop looking to be taken seriously, and do so with performance up to par with most stationary computers, if not better. Firingsquad decided to take a closer look at the monster laptop from ASUS, and even though it is big, it delivers.
To be blunt, this is an extreme computer for those with extreme needs, or just really love computer hardware. It’s hard to say anything else about a computer with dual graphics circuits and 640 GB harddrive space, Intel Core 2 Quad Q9000, 18.4″ Full-HD display and built-in 5.1 speakers from Altec Lansing.
Asus W90Vp costs $2,500 which automatically raises questions whether it is worth the money, and comparing to a “normal” laptop it becomes almost ridiculous. The company competitor has to be something from Alienware or Smoothcreations and then all of a sudden $2,500 doesn’t seem all that expensive.
