ASUS is without doubt the biggest motherboard maker when it comes to ordinary consumers and it seems that the profits just keeps going up. During September ASUS shipped over 5.26 million motherboards which is a 13% increase compared to the month before. During the first nine months of 2006, ASUS increased its sales by 11.4% and shipped approximately 44.73 million motherboards. A truly astonishing number for sure. The goal is to ship 60 million motherboards by the end of the year with the Christmas shopping sprees it isn’t an unlikely goal. Besides ASUS selling more and more motherboards, its graphics cards sales has also gone up by 31% over the whole year of 2006. With 1.13 million graphics cards sold during September.
