Asustek is one of the biggest component manufacturers in the world and it doesn’t just ship loads of products under its own brand, but also does third party production. We’ve earlier reported about how Asustek manufactures laptops for Apple and has earlier also been paired with Sony and the manufacturing of its video game console PS3. DigiTimes now report that Asustek will manufacture PS3’s during the fourth quarter of 2006, while Sony will get further assistance from Foxconn Electronics after February/March, 2007.
