ATI and NVIDIA is in the middle of an almost epic battle, we’ve recently reviewed NVIDIA’s new flagship GeForce 7900 GTX, and it seems we are really at the peak of stuff right now. Something that has always been a trump for NVIDIA is that it has allowed its partners to pick its own frequencies for its video cards. NVIDIA sets a default frequency for its new cards, but then the individual manufacturers can launch its cards with even higher frequencies if they want to, a strong arguement for a potential buyer. Now it seems that ATI has chosen to do the same and grant its partners the possiblity to sell overclocked cards. An interesting development we will follow closely.
