ATI Catalyst 5.12 with dual core

ATI Catalyst 5.12 are the first drivers for ATI’s graphic card which are specificly optimized for dual core processors and Catalyst 5.12 will be the twelfth official drivers from ATI this year, which means that it has fullfilled its goal with updating its drivers once a month. That they during the last month of 2005 release its first drivers with dual core optimisations doesn’t exactly make things worse. Considering that this is ATI’s first attempt with dual core optimisations we can most likely expect even better such in the future, but Catalyst 5.12 will according to ATI offer up to 25% better performance with dual core systems in certain configurations.
