ATi has just released a new version of its Catalyst-drivers. Catalyst 5.9 is the latest official verison, which is for all Radeon-based graphic cards. The news with Catalyst 5.9 is among others Driver Message Events and Directional Motion Adaptive Deinterlacing Algorithm. The latter is a linear filtering technology used by the 3D shader to improve the deinterlacing of video.
