ATI had according to earlier information plans for launching its first 80nm circuits at Computex and these were suppose to be some “new” low-end and mid-range circuits. However, now the plans have been delayed as ATI has decided to postpone the launch of its 80nm circuits until fall. ATI RV535, RV560 and RV570 are not expected until after the summer, most likely not until September. There is no information regarding exactly what has happened, but we’re guessing that it has bumped into problems during the manufacturing and simply that the yields were unacceptable.
