ATi is short on circuits

ATi promised us personally during the launch of the Radeon X1000-family that it has increased its production capacity a lot and that the bad availability as with the Radeon X850 XT PE and similar wouldn’t happen again. Not only is ATi having a shortage of circuits for its new product series, X1800, X1600 and X1300, but also the older low end circuits, Radeon 9250, X300 and X550 are hard to get your hands on, which in turn is holding back many of the graphic card manufacturers that wants to make more cards due to the high demand. ATi has promised us that everyone who wants to buy a Radeon X1800 XT before christmas will be able to do so however, whether they can keep this or not remains to see.
