ATI raised the stakes for the mobile graphics circuit market by launching a new Mobility Radeon X1800 circuit for portable computers. The first systems with ATI’s new circuit has already arrived on the market and at Bit-Tech they’ve gotten their hands on a computer from British manufacturer Rock that use ATI’s latest graphics circuit. They have plans for doing a fullscale review of the circuit, but so far they’ve published a short article on how to remove ATI’s new graphics circuit from the system, which appears to be quite easy, despite the fact that Rock doesn’t use the MXM interface.
