ATI has a small, but alas a very devastating problem during the development of R520, which was its first 90nm made graphic circuit. After it finally found the source of the problem ATI’s 90nm manufacturing process has been working very well and now it has even moved on to 80nm instead. As ATI usually do things it will be the new mid end and low end cards which first gets to try out the new technology. The new circuits are called RV560, RV505 and RV535. These circuits will not arrive until the second quarter of 2006 though, but it is pretty clear that ATI continues to improve its manufacturing process rapidly. Source: The Inquirer
