ATI Radeon 9600 Pro Mac & PC Edition

PC and Mac has a lot in common but a lot that seperates them and this makes it impossible for them to share certain components without making any modifcations. One of the components has always been the graphic card, this hasn’t stopped ATI from launched its ATi Radeon 9600 Pro Mac & PC Edition though. As the name implies it is a graphic card that will work with both Mac and PC, which makes its the first of its kind. It is hardly a gamer’s first choice but with 256MB ram and passive cooling there is no problem handling Apple’s 30″ LCD-monitor at 2560 x 1600 completely without noice. Hopefully this will be the start of a trend where graphic cards will be compatible with both Mac and PC.
