ATI Radeon X1900GT hasn’t been officially launched yet, but that hasn’t stopped it from creating a lot of ruckus and now our colleagues over at HKEPC has gotten their hands one such card. They have of course tested the card and published a preview of X1900GT with several benchmarks and other information. Radeon X1900GT is expected to be in direct competition with NVIDIA’s GeForce 7900GT and looking at the performance it’s quite even. ATI’s card has a tendency to perform better with synthetical tests, both 3Dmark05 and 3Dmark06 plays in favor of ATI’s card. But 3Dmark03 and four out of six game tests are better with NVIDIA’s card which all in all seems to end up in favor of the green team. But those who wants to some the real tests and reviews will have to wait until the start of May when ATI is expected to launch its card.
