ATI recently offered software developers and 3D artists the possibility to prepare themselves for the future DirectX 10 standard by releasing its latest SDK (Software Development Kit) for Microsoft’s DirectX 10 API. Focusing on unified shader architectures DirectX 10 it is a dear topic for ATI as it has already developed its first graphics circuit with this type of architecture, namely Xenos found inside Xbox 360. ATI R600 and NVIDIA G80 is expected to be the two first DirectX 10 capable graphics circuits for the PC market and the latest rumors state that these two circuits will be launched almost at the same time. “With the introduction of the latest software development kit (SDK), ATI Technologies Inc.
