Last week, ATI showed us its own concept of hardware accelerated physics at Computex. The technology named Boundless Gaming used three Radeon x1x00 video cards to give the user the feeling of boundless gaming. The problem however seems to be that the technology uses three cards thus uses three PCI Express Graphics slots on the motherboard. Something motherboard manufacturers aren’t too keen to support, since it would mean that the motherboards would have to cut down in their expandability. As of now, it seems like ATI has to come up with a really good RD600 reference motherboard using three PCI Express Graphics slots to appeal to the motherboard manufacturers.
