BenQ FP241W seems to be a very nice creation for those who are looking for a large LCD monitor. BenQ’s new model measures 24″ diagonally and is of the widescreen format. The panel has a 1920x1200px resolution which is up to par with the other 24″ models from Dell, Samsung and the rest. But BenQ has not held back when it comes to the monitor’s features and handling of different video signals. FP241W has inputs for most signals, composite, component, D-Sub15 (VGA), DVI-I and to top it all of a HDCP compatible HDMI input. BenQ claims that it is the first 24″ monitor with HDMI input, which is correct from what it seems.
The panel has a contrast ratio at 800:1 and an impressive response time at 6ms and with support for Picture-in-Picture, three USB ports and Pivot it looks like a mighty interesting monitor. The price of this beauty is expected to be 900 dollar and we are eagerly awaiting more information about BenQ’s latest creation.
