BFG will together with ASUS supply the world with AGEIA’s physics processor, but they weren’t expected to launch its cards until next month, May 2006, but then again we’ve already seen the cards in OEM systems from Dell and Alienware. Now the first PhysX cards have appeared in online stores and even if they are just available for pre-ordering this means that soon you will be able to invest in a physics accelerator of your own. The price of BFG Ageia PhysX at Overclockers.co.uk is £185, about $320. The fact that there are no games supporting PhysX’ physics effects available today might be a real thron in the side for potential customers though.
