We earlier reported about how DDR3 will appear later this year and these motherboards will be based on Intel’s Bearlake chipset, also known as P35. The specifications of Bearlake and its companion ICH9 have been circulating for some time, among others they’ve mentioned a lack of both PATA and PS/2 ports. Now information about Biostar TP35-D3, a motherboard based on P35/ICH9R has appeared and this one comes with both PATA and PS/2 ports. This motherboard hasn’t got support for DDR3-1600, not even DDR3-1333, which we’ve been hearing so much about. It only sports DDR3-1066, which could be because JEDEC is still working on the DDR3 standard.
