Blackmagic Intensity is the first video editing card on the market that supports the the growing HDMI interface with high-res video signals. Intensity is also one out of few cards on the market that makes use of the new PCIe x1 slots we so often see on motherboards today. The card will make it possible to store uncompressed high-res video signals and this has been solved by Blackmagic by simply work around the HDV compression circuit in the units.
