Blu ray launch plans announced in January

Blu-ray DVD Group which is behind the next generaion DVD format with the same name, Blu-ray, has plans for launching its format during the spring of 2006. But already in January 2006 it seems we will find out more details about the launch of the format. Because then Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will go off and apparently several manufacturers will release information about coming products based on the Blu-ray technology. The format war will head into its next phase and it is going to be exciting to see how HD DVD and Blu-ray will handle next years battles.
