Buffalo will launch 1.2GHz PC2-9600 DDR2 modules soon

Buffalo is a relatively small and unknown memory
manufacturer, especially to Europe, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t offer
interesting products. Information at a Japanese retailer suggests that Buffalo
will soon ship DDR2-SDRAM modules that will be clocked at 1.2GHz
. This is a
rather big step forward as fastest memory modules of today are made by Corsair
and OCZ and runs at a little more than 1.1GHz. Buffalo will sell the modules
under its Firestix brand and the modules will be specified at PC2-9600
speeds, but you will be able to reach PC2-10000 sppeds, which means a real
clock of 1.25GHz. The memories will appear on the market in October with
latencies at 5-6-6-18.
