AMD has now released the latest drivers for its Radeon graphics cards. Catalyst 7.3 brings support for OpenGl CrossFire in Vista and an overall improved performance with CrossFire configurations. There is a lot of perforrmance to gain with many games through the activation of AFR (Alternate Frame Rendering) and a series of game fixes (Call of Duty, City of Heroes, Doom 3 Never Winter Nights, and more) in Windows Vista. The fixes for Windows XP aren’t quite as big, but remedies some of the problems that have occured during HD playback and using HDMI. More detailed information can be found in AMD’s release notes.
