The first Catalyst driver of the year was recently released by AMD and even the news are fairly few since the last revision, the Radeon family now sports full OpenGL 3.0 support. AMD has added ten new OpenGL 3.0 functions and now makes full use the new Radeon series DirectX 10 hardware. It has also resolved some bugs in both Windows Vista and Windows XP while the Linux version of Catalyst 9.1 offers several bigger updates. Among others Hybrid CrossFireX, MultiView and Linux in Ubuntu 8.10.
