The second day at Cebit brought news from AMD in the form of a low-voltage Athlon XP-M. This new mobile processor, based on the barton core, will bear a performance ratio from 1400-1800. It is targeted at the same market segment as Intel’s Centrino.
Next to that, they also bring 7 other new mobile processors; 2 based on the new Barton core; performance ratio 2400-2500. 5 Will be based on the Thouroughbred core, and have a performance ratio between 2000-2600.
They also announced that their 64-bit desktop processor (Claw hammer) is to be released in september.
