We earlier reported about when Transgaming released Cedega 5.1 and at Phoronix they downloaded the demo and tested the new version with NVIDIA’s video cards, under Linux of course and compared that to native tests in Windows. Back then it seemed to work just fine, even if it wasn’t the exact same performance as with Windows. NVIDIA has been supporting the Linux community for long now, something ATI has been hesitating about. Even if ATI has been improving its work with more and better drivers for Linux there is still much missing. Phoronix show in its, a bit short, article that ATI is still behind NVIDIA here and, alas, it’s just sad that ATI doesn’t take the Linux platform more seriously.
