NVIDIA hasn’t commented on the rumors of a launch of a fifth member of the Fermi family, GeForce GTS 450. The new graphics card is said to launch in August and now we have pictures that are claimed to be drawings of the circuit board.
Judging from the leaked pictures it looks like NVIDIA has reverted back to a square GPU design with GF106. The power supply looks like 3+1 phases and the board will have just one 6-pin PCIe power connector.
The GPU is expected to use a 128-bit memory bus shared between six memory circuit on the front of the card. Just like the rest of Fermi it will use dual DVI outputs along with a mini-HDMI output.
There is little evidence this is in fact the circuit board for GeForce GTX 450, but judging from the design, layoiut and size of the GPU it seems plausible.
The launch of GeForce GTX 450 is slated for end of August, which means more information shouldn’t be that far off.
