Clevo is one of the world’s largest notebook builders. It’s common to find its laptops rebranded in other companies assortments, especially the high-end solutions. At CeBIT, Clevo unveiled a sub-notebook called TN70M. It’s based on the Intel Atom platform, but it’s actually too large to carry the Centrino Atom logo. Intel is strict when it comes to these things. It has a bright 7″ widescreen display (1024×600), weighs 990g and sports up to 10 hours with the 4-cell (4800mAh) battery.
The 1.6GHz 533MHZ FSB Silverthorne processor is paired with the Poulsbo chipset with a GMA 500 IGP for the graphics, which brings up the total power consumption to a mere 15W.
The TN70M has a 1.8″ drive for storage, mechanical or solid state, and WiFi connectivity. Price is unknown, but the laptop is expected to arrive in June.
